If you have a hand worth 16 in total then you should surrender if the Dealer is showing 9 or a 10. If you have a 14 or 15 and the Dealer is showing a ten then you should surrender your hand. Also if you have a pair of 8′s or a pair of 9′s and the Dealer is showing a ten then you should surrender.
These are the only times you should surrender your hand when playing Big Five Blackjack, and don’t forget if you surrender your hand you lose half your wager.
